1985 Sulzer Bros. AG founded the new department Sulzer Robot Systems with the aim to enter into the fast growing field of flexible automation.
1986 Development of the first deburring tools with "surround" compliance and the first robotic deburring systems to debur castings.
1992 Sulzer Robot Systems is changed into the legally independent Sulzer Robot Systems AG with participation of the leading employees as share holders.
1993 First application of a compliant deburring tool in a machining center to debur undefined cast edges.
1995 Sulzer Robot Systems is sold to ABB Robotics AG.
1998 A leading know how carrier leaves ABB (renders independence) and establishes Amtru Business AG.
1999 Other key personal join Amtru Business AG.
Our components are exported into all European countries.
The range of tools is steadily expanded to suit market needs.
2001 Tools and services are sold in North America.
2002 Move to new localities.
Tools and services are sold in Asia.
2003 Take over of the activities in the field of tooling for robots from ABB Switzerland Ltd. Robotics.
